These terms govern your use of the Tetbury Hype website and app (together, the "Service"), operated from Tetbury, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Tetbury Hype is a free, hyper-local feed showing updates posted by local businesses in Tetbury. We provide the platform; we do not provide the goods, services, offers or events advertised through it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You must give accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service in any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful way;
- post content that is defamatory, offensive, misleading, infringing, or that breaches anyone's privacy;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service;
- impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with them.
4. Content posted by businesses
Updates, offers, prices, opening times and events are posted by the businesses themselves. We do not verify, endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any of that content. Any transaction or arrangement you make based on an update is strictly between you and the business concerned.
5. Our role and your responsibility
You use the Service at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, disappointment, missed event or unsatisfactory purchase resulting from content posted by businesses or from your reliance on the Service.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from any business listing. Our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to £0.01.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the hype name, logo and design, belongs to us. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Content you post remains yours, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the Service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or close any account at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken or if doing so is necessary to protect the Service or its users.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
